The stamp duty calculator for land acquisitions in LandFund appraisals is using the new rates that came into effect on 23 September 2022. These are taken from the government web pages for residential and non-residential stamp duty rates.

In order to calculate the stamp duty accurately for your appraisal we just need to know a few things about the land or property you are acquiring. By clicking the buttons provided you can select whether or not it’s a residential property and if it is, whether you’re buying it as a company or an individual and whether you already own at least one property.

To make it as easy as possible for you to quickly get your stamp duty for a residential property, we have made some assumptions about you:

  • If you are buying as an individual, you are a UK resident and you are not a first time buyer

  • If you are buying as a company, you are a property developer or other business qualifying for relief from the higher (15%) rate charge

If for some reason you don’t want your stamp duty automatically calculated and updated you also have the option to manually set it to any amount you would like.
