In the top right corner, you can edit your target profit based on three different metrics. Total profit, profit as a % of GDV and profit as a % of costs. Change your desired profit % to view the residual value, and to update the appraisal navigate to the Land Acquisition section and click the blue “Use residual value” button.

The residual value calculation is a complicated formula that accounts for all costs that change based on a change in land value and results in a land value in line with other costs changing - such as stamp duty, interest on lending and/or land introducer fees.
