What are the numbers in the brackets?
What are the numbers in the brackets?

Find our how many properties are owned by someone directly and how many are owned through subsidiaries.

Against each company name, you will see two numbers in brackets. The number on the left is the number of titles registered against that company directly, while the number on the right also includes titles registered against any child companies (subsidiaries).

So in the above example "MARKS AND SPENCER GROUP P.L.C. (0/880)" tells us that "MARKS AND SPENCER GROUP P.L.C." do not own any titles directly but are the Ultimate Owners of 880 titles through their subsidiaries. Similarly, "MARK AND SPENCER LIMITED" own 658 titles directly and 880 titles through their subsidiaries.

The numbers represent the titles held nationwide, not just within the search area shown on the map. Please note the number on the right does not take into consideration any parent ownership if there is any. It's just the company on that level of the tree and below.
