Planning application data

Countries

For England, Scotland and Wales we have good coverage from across all planning authorities. We unfortunately don't provide coverage for Northern Ireland at this point in time.

Sometimes we can encounter temporary issues with individual planning authorities. Your customer success colleague will have details of these, where they happen, and can share them with you.

Time periods

We have good coverage of planning applications from 2008 onwards, within supported countries. If you wish to get data for an older period of time, please do get in touch with us.

Planning application boundaries data

Where available, we also collect boundary data from planning authorities. We collect these and show them for all supported planning authorities, for applications registered from September 2022 onwards.

Coming soon - 5 years of coverage from these same supported planning authorities.

Coming soon - Other planning authorities.

Planning appeals data

Appeals are included back to 2010, which represents twelve years of appeals data for planning applications. This data comes from the Planning Inspectorate for England. All new appeals within England are included, and historic appeals for Wales.
